Grace-Lynne Martin Ingle July 16, 1929 - February 11, 2012

Gainy passed away on Friday night, very suddenly, yet also very peacefully. She was in her bed in her fluffy robe with her cat, Burton. Grandan was at City of Hope being transferred to the Californian on Saturday after his surgery, in order to recover before returning home. The past few days have been surreal as none of us can believe she is actually gone. She was an extraordinary women with so much depth, faith, and love...the matriarch of our family. We have all surrounded ourselves with each other to tell stories and memories we have of her. Tears quickly turn into laughs and back again. She is now one of the angels she always believed in and called upon and she will watch over us all. Gainy, we will miss you forever and love you forever.

Updates!

Well, it's been 8 fast months since Carson was born & our lives changed forever! He grows and changes every day...from a new sound he makes to a different facial expression to a new chubby leg roll! He is talking more and more and I swear he says "Mama" all the time. I may be biased, but I don't think it's coincidental. :) He is army crawling everywhere and will take a few real crawls when he realllly wants something...and it's usually something he's not supposed to get, of course. He weighed in at 15lbs 8 oz & 26 inches long at his last doctor's appt which placed him in the 10th percentile for weight & the 40th percentile for height...looks like he's headed towards his Dad's long & lean body & fast metabolism! Yay! We have some busy weekends ahead after having a little break since the holidays...several birthdays, parties, and events ahead which means Spring will be here in no time!

Well, Carson can totally sit up on his own now & chooses to do so in his crib, all the time! Even to sleep! (I did lie him down after I took this picture). :)

Yard visit

We visited Dad at work & brought him lunch. Carson was excited to see the re-do & all the fun boy toys at the yard!

Obsessed with smoothies

Carson has decided that he loves drinking from a straw...and only from a straw! So I've had to get creative and make all kinds of smoothies!
