We got Carson his own silverware because he has been grabbing ours & wanting to feed himself...

7 months old!!!

Carson turned 7 months old yesterday! We hung out with Warren at Yaya & Pops and went to dinner at Rocky Cola Cafe with Andy, Megan & Warren. When we got home, Carson decided to show his Dad how he can get up on all fours and rock! He had done it a few times since Wednesday but Gabe hadn't seen it yet. An exciting new phase we're about to enter as Carson goes MOBILE!

San Diego

We spent the week after Christmas in San Diego...not our typical leave the country vacation but it was a great family vacation! I did a lot of research about my family's history in La Jolla & San Diego...my Dad's Grandma is from there and her grandfather and his siblings had a lot to do with the growth of the city. We visited Ellen Browning Scripps park and had a picnic...Ellen was my grandma's aunt. We had great fish and chips on New Year's Eve at The Fishery, my Dad's cousin's restaurant in Pacific Beach. It was really cool to read about and discover things about my family that I never knew. It was also great to find out more about the Brown family...where Carson's middle name came from. We also went to Sea World with Phil & Brie and to the San Diego Zoo with Andy, Megan & Warren! Our weather was gorgeous and we had a really fun week to kick off 2012!

It's a New Year!

Time to catch up on here! The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of fun things! We had the couple weeks leading up to Christmas filled with decorating the house, annual cookie day at Mom & Dad's, & a couple birthday parties. Then Christmas Eve at Yaya & Pops, Christmas Day split up between our house, Yaya & Pops, & Gainy & Grandan's. The day after Christmas was a trip to Grandpa Glen's to celebrate Christmas with the Lefebvre Clan followed up by a week long trip to San Diego (including Sea World with Phil & Brie & the San Diego Zoo with Andy, Megan & Warren!). Then it was New Year's Day & Carson's 7 month birthday was today! Phewww!!! Carson has grown up so much the past month...he is so in tune with us & very talkative!! He was up on all fours today for the first time...rocking away & so ready to get movin'! Here are some pictures from our Christmas Season. :)
