3 days overdue!

Our official due date was on Saturday, the 28th...it is now the 31st and he's still just chillin' out in my belly! :) So, we continue to wait until he decides he's ready. I'm not super uncomfortable physically however my emotions are definitely telling me I'm ready. We've been to the hospital for 2 non-stress tests since Friday and everything looks great so they've sent us home each time. We go back to the doctor tomorrow for a full ultrasound and another cervix check...so we may have more news after that. Stay tuned for updates...we know how anxious everyone is to meet this guy!

T minus 4 days.....

Went back to the doctor today....1 cm dilated, 70% effaced & he's at station 0! Some progress from last week which is good but still not here. We go back to the doctor on Friday for a non-stress test to check on how he's doing in there. Then we have an ultrasound scheduled for next Wednesday if he still isn't here. Fingers crossed he'll get moving in the next few days! :) Stay tuned for updates....

39 weeks and still waiting!

Well, we hit 39 weeks today! Our little guy has yet to show us any signs of his arrival. I've been leaking a lot but no official water breakage and no contractions just yet. I can definitely feel his head on my pelvis at time and it is a sharp pain. The braxton hicks have picked up a but too. So, we had what could have been our last date night for quite a while last night. Gabe lost his wedding ring so we went to get him a new one. Then we went to Americana to dinner and a movie. Saw Bridesmaids, which was hilarious, but all the laughing still did not pop this guy out! We'll just have to wait and see when he's ready. :)


We did get to welcome Baby Gianna Rose Caldera to the world on Thursday! Nicole and Daniel went in for a c-section on Thursday at 11am and she was out within a half hour. She was 8lbs 9oz and 21 inches long...with a ton of dark curly hair and the cutest chubby cheeks! She is perfect and beautiful! :)


We can't wait now to welcome our little man who has tons of people anxious to meet him!!!

First Cervix Check!

Went to the doctor today and he checked me for the first time....so here are the results...I am not dilated, however I am 50% effaced and his head is at station -1. Basically, that means that he has dropped down from a -3 (the highest his head was at). I'll go back next Tuesday if nothing has happened at that point. Stay tuned for updates... :)

38 week belly shot

Success!

Well, without going into labor, we made it to our last concert...Zac Brown Band at the Hollywood Bowl last night...so amazing! And, Gabe had his Man Cave Warming Party today! So far, this little guy is listening to his Mom. Let's just hope it continues! :)

2 weeks and counting!

38 weeks today and the nesting has officially kicked in! Can't stop cleaning, organizing, and getting ready!

37 weeks!

We had our 37 week doctor appointment this morning...everything is looking good. They checked baby's heartbeat and it's fast and strong. The doctor will start checking my dilation/effacement next week at 38 weeks. I've had continued braxton hicks for weeks now but nothing new so we're just going with the flow and waiting for this little guy to be ready. :)

We had a busy weekend starting with a Chris Cornell concert Thursday night, a party for one of Gabe's clients Saturday night, and then Mother's Day yesterday was spent at the Rose Bowl Swap Meet with Mom, Dad, Andy, Megan, Warren, and Phillippe. I was surprised on Mother's Day morning with beautiful flowers, my favorite iced decaf coffee, a card, and an adorable baby blanket that I was dying for in Laguna while we were there. I felt so spoiled by Gabe and this baby already! I feel so lucky!

Allie and Brie get home from Australia this week (after being gone over 3 weeks!) and Grandma Jeanette also arrives this week as well. She is staying with Allie and Phil to wait for the arrival of her 3rd great-grandbaby!

Countdown is really on now....we're in the teens!! 19 days!!! :)

36 Weeks & a Final Babymoon

With just 27 days to go, we spent a gorgeous weekend in Laguna together...our last trip as just the two of us before our little family grows. :) We didn't get around to taking too many pictures but here are a few. The weather could not have been nicer, we ate delicious food, walked the beach for hours, and soaked up the sun.
