How has it already been half a year since we met Carson! Honestly, I don't really remember what life was like without him. :)

Montrose Christmas Parade 2011

We went to our annual Montrose Christmas Parade last Saturday night...Gabe & Andy got to ride their Honda ct70's in the parade and turned their helmets into presents! Grandan & Gainy were also in the parade with their driver, Chrissy! It was freezing cold but so much fun. Carson and Warren loved all of the bands, singing & horses!

Arrowhead with the Lefebvre Clan!

We went up to Arrowhead the day after Thanksgiving to join Brad, Allison, Glen, Olivia, Phil, Allie & Brie at a cabin on the lake! We had an amazing view of the lake from what became the "play room". We spent time at the house and down at the village feeding ducks and playing at the kids carnival & playground. Brie was obsessed with Carson, saying his name over and over and over...and she helped him play, read to him and helped change his diaper! Great family time!

Thanksgiving 2011

We had Thanksgiving at the Haynes House this year...we trade off years with the Lefebvre side. Carson had sweet potatoes & mashed potatoes & had so much fun at the table with everyone! We all have so much to be thankful for this year...Carson & Warren have added more joy to our lives than any of us could have ever dreamed!

Potatoes & bananas & peas, oh my!

Carson has tested out a bunch of new foods in the past couple weeks...avocado, carrots, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, bananas, pears (much needed after the bananas...we'll spare you the details!), & peas! So far, he hasn't spit a single thing out! :)

1st Tooth!

Carson got his 1st tooth on Sunday, November 27, 2011! The bottom right one...and it feels like the left is just around the corner!

Soooo...I made sweet potatoes for Carson this morning and my timing was slightly off when I took the top of the blender off....oops!

Pre-Holiday Craze Baby Palooza

We spent the afternoon at Gainy & Grandan's last Saturday with a lot of the family and other great grandbabies, Gia & Warren. :) Such fun to see everyone and share these moments with the first greats to join our big crazy family!

5 Month Appointment

Carson weighed in at 14lbs 7oz & measured a whopping 25 inches long today...he is in the 25th percentile across the board!

We have a food lover on our hands!

Carson was begggging (aka reaching, whining, and lunging) for some of our dinner last night (baked potato & salad) so we let him have a taste of the plain potato mashed up. He seems to be very interested in the different textures, tastes, and feelings in his mouth!

Ready, Set, Solids!

Carson ate his first real food this afternoon! He had mashed avocado and seemed to really like it! We can't wait to continue introducing new & exciting veggies & fruits throughout the months to come! (sorry for the long video...we didn't want to miss anything!)
